Nordic Business Forum 2018 – Speaker Contest Application

“Nordic Business Forum is hosting a new contest to find individuals with fresh perspectives and management ideas, and give them a platform to speak. The winner of the Speaker Sourcing Contest will get to present at Nordic Business Forum 2018 and will be paid a 30,000 € speaking fee.”

Of course I wanted to apply even it is at the same time a bit scary and also super exciting to think to speak a front of 8000 people.

Idea of the Presentation

The common question for business leaders across the industries from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies is:  How to stay in the game year after year in quickly evolving and unstable business environment?

What is the operating model that can not only to manage, but also identify all the important changes in our business environment?

Regulation and rapid technological development are the same for every company but some organizations are able to create business innovations and even disruptions while others fall behind.

If we look under the hood of any organization we will find out that the difference between failure and success is not only in the unique vision, but more likely in the operating model of the organization.

We have discussed with modern companies and industry leaders like GE and Grundfos (Case Grundfos – No Separate Digital Strategy Needed) and identified four building blocks of a new kind of operating model that enables continuous business transformation.

In my presentation I will open the four elements of the operating model and also discuss the role of culture, vision, purpose and how to attract the best of talent.

I define the kind of dynamic capabilities needed to ensure company-wide agility to evolve and sustain long-term growth.
